Walk Description
The walk will start in Market Harborough at The Waterfront restaurant, Union Wharf LE16 7UW at 9am and end in Leicester
less than 12 hours later. This walk is about 26 miles so only the fittest and fastest should attempt it. We intend to stop at a couple of pubs along the way. We have to be back in Leicester before 9pm as that is last orders for pizzas in The Criterion.
As this is a linear walk, the X3 bus leaves Leicester station at 7.50 arriving in MH at 8.37. The train departs at 8.33 and arrives at 8.46. Anybody who wants to bale out early at The Navigation at Kilby Bridge can catch the 49b bus to Leicester at 10 minutes and 40 minutes past each hour.
