Walk Description
Meet at Kirkby Stephen station in time to buy a ticket and catch the 10.34 train to Appleby. £3.50 single.
Walk back (approx 16 miles with 1600 ft ascent) from Appleby to our cars at Kirkby Stephen station.
Bring all supplies you?ll need for the long day out on the hills. There?s a good chippy and nice pubs in Kirby Stephen at the end, which we?ll probably need as walk will finish around 6pm or later (so bring some money for your evening meal as well as your train ticket).
