Singles Sailing Holiday 24-27 Aug 2012 (Bank Holiday)
This 4 day singles sailing holiday is exclusively for singles, and aims to get a good mix genders within the suggested age range of 25-45. Our uk singles weekends are not ‘dating events’ but you will meet new friends and like-minded people who want to socialise and enjoy themselves! In order to get the most out of the weekend, please come prepared to get to know your crew mates and have fun!
As the emphasis in on having fun, we've added our own 'Pirates and Admiralty' race into the mix! For one whole day our yachts will become 'Pirate Ships' and 'Naval Vessels' - you choose which yacht you'd like to be on when you book (see cabin options), and remember to bring your pirate or navy fancy dress, and we'll supply the prizes!
As our singles sailing weekends are fantastic adventure breaks suitable for anyone from complete beginners to experienced sailors, everyone will be able to take part. If you are a beginner, don't worry - all Fusion Breaks singles sailing weekends have a friendly and experienced skipper who will let you get as involved as you want to with learning the ropes. As a team activity, you will make plenty of friends sailing, you just need to muck in as much as possible, and come prepared to have fun! Don't worry if you don't like the actual rope pulling though, helping out with lunches and making teas will always be appreciated!
There will also be plenty of time to socialise and meet new people in the evenings too, as we encourage all our guests (both pirates and admirals) to mingle together either ashore at one of the local restaurants (often with live music) or on deck watching the sun go down with a large glass of wine! This gives you ample opportunity to meet singles who are very sociable, and enjoy a good mix of sailing and partying!

Sample Itinerary:
FRIDAY
17:00-19:00 Arrive at yacht in The Hamble (Southampton), meet skipper and group, arrange cabin share
20:00 Dinner ashore with fellow crewmates at local restaurant, return to yacht
SATURDAY
09:00-10:00 Breakfast onboard and showers ashore
10:00 Safety briefing from the skipper and then set sail
13:00 Lunch onboard anchored at one of the picturesque spot
