4Singles is quite a simple concept – we promote outdoor and active sociable events and holidays where people will feel comfortable turning up alone and get lots of opportunities to mix and make new friends. This includes walking clubs, dancing and specialist providers of activity holidays for small groups. As far as possible we aim to be impartial – promoting both charities and commercial companies - and ensuring that events are listed purely on their merits.
Quite clearly many of the events are not just for single people - so if you're into the outdoors or dancing then there's probably something on here for you too.

Whats the 4Singles Web site all about?
For a start off we have a large number of young walking groups and clubs - putting on walks every week. On the holidays page you'll find organisation specialising in outdoor, dance and activity holidays. On the events page we list a large number of events - many free - check the map to see which are in your area.
On this site you will also find a forum and a photo album of some of the activities promoted on the site

Finding
suitable holidays that cater for singles in their 20s and 30s can
be difficult. Appart from the notorious singles supplements - unless you are lucky enough for other solo travellers to be on the same holiday it can be a bit of a lonely afair. The holidays

cater for those that are young, active and travelling solo.

This area of the web site provides information on organisations
that are of interest to both singles and non-singles in their
20s and 30s. Most of them I have personally experienced -
and been a member of. Often joining an organisation is the
best way of making new friends and meeting people outside
of the work environment.

Online agencies allow people to find people of a similar
mindset so they can get together. This may be with the intention
of a sexual relationship - but may also be just to get together
with others who enjoy similar activities. I think the main
thing is not to take it too seriously - and to have fun meeting
people.

clothing page useful. The suppliers on the clothing
page provide anything from active/travel-wear to highly
tech mountaineering gear - with everything in between. They
also sell all the other bits and pieces you may want - such
as sleeping bags, tents and cooking gear. |
